About Lucas
I am an undergraduate degree holder in Mathematics from UFFS with emphasis in Mathematical Analysis. Currently, I teach in the state education system, where I work with students in the lower secondary level.

Let's together break away from the idea that mathematics is rigid, boring and suffocating. Mathematics is beautiful, curious and strange!
I offer personalized math lessons for elementary and middle school students, tailored to their individual needs.
I have a laid-back approach. I seek to bring mathematics into students' daily lives, exploring concepts based on the bizarre history of mathematics and contextualized, "real-life" situations of interest.
We will develop our classes using traditional and technological resources, games and materials of my own creation.
I value building a safe space. Of dialogue and exchange of ideas. LGBTQIA+, ASD and ADHD students are more than welcome.
