About Adeline
I discovered my passion for mathematics through the challenge of solving complex problems and recognizing patterns. This inspired me to pursue an M.Sc in Mathematical Sciences, where I studied algebra, geometry, data analysis, and modeling. Over 11 years of teaching, I have guided students through elementary school math, middle school math, algebra, geometry, and SAT math, helping them develop skill, confidence, and analytical thinking. I teach with patience, clarity, and adaptability, using visual aids, structured guidance, and practical examples to make concepts accessible. I encourage curiosity, problem-solving, and independent thinking, creating a supportive environment for growth. Outside teaching, I engage with new mathematical methods, educational tools, and analytical research to enrich lessons. Witnessing learners develop mastery, confidence, and a genuine appreciation for mathematics is one of the most rewarding aspects of my teaching career.

Mathematics becomes enjoyable when students understand the reasoning behind each concept and can apply it creatively. I begin lessons by strengthening elementary school math skills, such as arithmetic, number patterns, and visual problem-solving, providing a strong foundation for later topics. Learners then progress to middle school math, exploring fractions, ratios, percentages, algebra, and geometry through structured explanations and practical examples.
Intermediate lessons focus on linear equations, functions, coordinate geometry, multi-step word problems, and analytical reasoning. I also integrate SAT math preparation, teaching strategies for time management, problem interpretation, and logical thinking. Exercises are designed to develop both reasoning skills and confidence, ensuring learners can tackle unfamiliar problems effectively.
Advanced lessons cover higher-order algebra, geometric proofs, data interpretation, and mathematical modeling. Students practice multiple solution strategies, develop critical thinking, and apply concepts to real-world scenarios. My teaching approach emphasizes clarity, patience, and encouragement, ensuring learners gain both mastery and confidence in mathematics.
