About Harini
My passion for mathematics began with curiosity about patterns, logical reasoning, and problem-solving strategies. I earned a B.Sc in Mathematics and an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, specializing in algebra, geometry, and applied problem-solving. Over 9 years, I have guided learners from elementary school math to middle school math, advanced algebra, geometry, and SAT math, helping them develop confidence, analytical skills, and conceptual clarity. I create engaging, supportive lessons that foster curiosity, independent thinking, and practical application. I tailor lessons to each student’s level. Beginners strengthen arithmetic, number sense, and foundational operations. Intermediate learners work on multi-step reasoning, applied algebra, and geometric problem-solving. Advanced learners tackle SAT-style questions, coordinate geometry, and higher-level algebra, cultivating analytical skills, problem-solving confidence, and independence. My teaching emphasizes structured thinking, curiosity, and perseverance. Outside teaching, I explore mathematical applications, problem-solving methods, and innovative approaches to enrich lessons.
