For the past 3 years, I have been associated in teaching mathematics. I specialise in calculus.
During my teaching/ tutoring sessions I don’t follow "because I said so" approach. Instead, I try my best to act as a facilitator of learning, providing students with the knowledge and tools to solve questions and then encouraging students to solve them on their own. When students answer a problem incorrectly, I do not allow them to quit. I encourage students to figure out where they went wrong and to keep working together at the problem until we arrive at the correct answer.
