About Nhan
I have a Bachelor of Education Degree from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) as well as an Honours Bachelor of Science with a double major in Psychology and Religion. I have been tutoring for over twelve years now, predominantly in Mathematics, but also English, Psychology, and general subjects in the Elementary Level. I also possess experience in coordinating tutoring programs where I managed a team of tutors and students as well.

I strongly believe in a holistic scaffolding approach to teaching, one where students can eventually obtain the answers to questions themselves through patient, compassionate, and flexible pedagogy. Teaching, understanding, and retention of the topics taught are important, but it is incomplete without positive behaviours that can lead to that. As such, I not only want to tackle just the academic development for my students, but also emotional, psychological, and behavioural as well.
My Psychology background enables me to discern the type of learning styles best suited for students and I enjoy finding the most optimal way to further develop their learnings.
