About Saskia
I am a qualified math teacher with experience in teaching the UK (similar to the Australian curriculum), IB, and German curriculums, as well as in 1:1 tutoring. I worked in schools in the UK, Norway (International British School), as well as in Germany. I was always very passionate about mathematics, and I had already tutored math as a high school student. I also completed a Ph.D. in Marine Biology in Australia, and I can teach in English as well as in German.

Everyone can do math!! It just depends on how it is taught! I love to teach math in a way that is most suitable for the learning style of each individual student. I include real-life examples to show that math is something we can connect to in everyday life, assess the understanding of the subject, repeat what needs to be clarified, and practice, practice, practice with my students. I love to help students gain confidence and achieve their educational goals!

Saskia made me feel very comfortable during the lessons and taught me strategies how to approach mathematical problems. It also helped a lot that she used real-life examples to make it easier to understand.
