About Anna
I have been teaching biology, statistics and maths for 2 years. I taught primary and secondary school students as well as fellow university students. I am experienced both in long-term teaching and in exam preparion. My student passed their exams with good grades. I helped a lot of university student and classmates with statistics as they (like me) needed to use it in their thesis project.

I graduated as a biologist at the University of Veterinary Medicine. Thanks to semesters of maths and statistics teaching I am able to explain these subjects for student from primary school to university. I have achieved great results during my programme and I also have practical experience. I was always good in maths and my high school teacher explained maths in a really enthusiastic and interesting way that I loved this subject even more than before. I get to know statistics during my years at university (since it is essential in science) and found it very useful and like maths a way more interesting if taught with real examples or if you use it in your own work. I think that in maths and statistics putting things into practice is the most important and students can understand these subject much better this way. So I am inspired to follow his way of teaching and this phylosophy. I find important to work independently with everyone, get to know people and teach them uniquely based on their needs and characteristics. I always get feedback so I can change these methods if neccessary. I also find important to encourage students to find what they are interested in and create the conditions in which they are able to learn. Before a lesson I always make a plan and write down the aims for the day. I believe that I can make most students' nightmare class into a more interesting subject.

Anna not only helped my to prepare to my biology exams, but also gave me an insight into the practical applications of this knowledge, and told me a lot about how real biologists work in research.
When I was struggling with statistics during my individual research project at the University, Anna helped me a lot and she showed that the nightmare of many Biology students can be really interesting if you have a good tutor who shows you how to get to the root of it!
Anna helped my youngest daughter who really disliked biology, but it took only her teaching and explaining skills to make her understand and like this field.
