About Preetishtira
As a current university student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, I have developed a deep passion for mathematics. My own journey with math has been transformative—I once struggled with the subject, but through dedication and perseverance, I not only overcame my challenges but grew to love its beauty. I believe that if I had someone earlier in my education to guide me and help me see math's fascinating side, I could have avoided much of the frustration I faced in my early years.
This is one of the main reasons I’m so passionate about tutoring. I want to help students, especially younger ones, navigate the challenges of math with confidence and excitement. I truly understand the struggles many students face when learning math, and I’m committed to making the subject not only accessible but also enjoyable. Math is incredibly fun when you understand it, and I’m eager to help students discover that for themselves!

As a tutor, my approach is centered around kindness, encouragement, and patience. I understand that every student learns differently, so I take the time to go through the syllabus in detail and address any challenges they may be facing. My goal is to ensure they not only understand the material but feel confident in their abilities.
I will aid their learning with a range of past papers and exercises as homework to reinforce what we’ve covered and help the student become more comfortable with problem-solving. I also like to keep lessons engaging and fun by incorporating math-related videos or some fun games depending on the students level that simplify complex concepts and spark interest.
Ultimately, I believe learning should be a positive experience, and I’m committed to supporting my students every step of the way, helping them reach their goals while building their confidence in math.
