About Stephen
I have a proven track record of raising student attainment in my subject. My knowledge comes from my 18 years experience in the classroom as well as keeping up with recent developments in the syllabus alongside maintaining a keen interest in the subject. I am a very clear communicator who understands the need to explain con cepts and ideas to suit the needs of the student. I am a very experienced mathematician who enjoys breathing life into the subject. My background is in secondary education and I understand completely the barriers and difficulties people have with the subject. The main strategy to solve these problems is using clear explanation and lots of examples to illustrate the difficult topics. It is also essential to set tasks to the student which carry over to the next lesson in order to reinforce learning. I can tutor all school levels.
