For me, a good student-teacher rapport is very important, hence I usually start my sessions by making the student comfortable enough to communicate with me.
My online session methodology is as follows:
- thoroughly explaining the mentioned topic
- providing tips and tricks
- providing flowcharts, tables, pneumonics to make the topic easy-to-follow and memorable
- having interactions with the student throughout in order to assess it's understanding on my teaching
- conducting a doubt-clearing session in the end.
