I find that different teaching methods benefit different stuents long term, as some will much prefer lessons grounded in repetition whereas others, particularly those who struggle to focus, might find different activities/games a more beneficial tactic. I am however a firm believer that exam style questions must always be a part of any session as a way to apply the method learned which will allow them to succeed in any upcoming examinations.
I'm a medical student at Queen's University Belfast having moved from Reading, UK. I have experience in tutoring individual students in GCSE Maths, English and Sciences and achieved an A* in Maths A-Level (Edexcel).
