About Maria Luisa
I study medicine in English at the Humanitas University in Milan. I am bilingual Italian-German because I have German origins (my mother comes from Frankfurt am Main). Since I was a child, I lived in close relationship with this language, always communicating with my family in german.
I further perfected my grammar by attending a German class at the Galileo Ferraris high school in Turin. I lived for a semester in Australia and always attended English courses: this allowed me to take the IELTS exam with a 7.5 (proficient user, level C1) rating. I offer after-school and homework help for elementary school children. I propose lessons for middle school and high school students in English, German, chemistry and biology. I can also help you in preparing for the admission to medical universities.

To make the best out of every lesson I ask my students to send me the topics on which they should focus on: this helps me in creating an organised lesson and it gives me the chance to gather some useful material to practice for your test. The lesson will have a theoretical part first, which is aimed at solving your doubts on the topics you should study, the second part will require you to put into practice the acquired knowledge by doing exercises together. My goal is to give the students who want to apply successfully to Md univerisities a strategy to face the questions asked by focusing on all the topics and techniques to be acquired for a good performance during the test. During the lessons I provide the material I used to prepare for my own application.
