About Özge
I am a graduate of METU (Middle East Technical University) with a degree in Mathematics Teaching and a master's degree in Mathematics Education. I provide online private math tutoring for elementary, middle, and high school students. In my lessons, I consider the student's level, needs, and learning style. We can work together to address various needs, such as support with school subjects, topic review, filling in knowledge gaps, and exam preparation. I am also familiar with the Turkish Century Education Model. Having received training in student coaching, I support my students not only in math but also in creating study plans, maintaining consistency, and motivation. I truly love the teaching profession and mathematics. My goal is to help my students learn math by understanding it rather than memorizing, and to build their self-confidence.

When teaching my prospective students, I strive to adopt a customized approach, taking into account their learning style and needs. My lessons are not just about solving math problems; they are designed to help students understand the subject matter, strengthen their relationship with mathematics, and build their confidence. Above all, I prioritize an interactive and participatory environment. I try to engage my students by moving them from passive listeners to active participants. I encourage their questions and motivate them to develop their thinking skills. The content of my lessons covers a wide range, from basic concepts to complex topics. When explaining concepts, I use concrete examples and real-life applications. I move beyond abstract concepts and connect mathematics to situations they might encounter in their daily lives, ensuring their understanding. My methods also include leveraging students' interests and strengths. For example, if a student is interested in music, I can make the math lesson more engaging by using musical examples. In this way, I ensure students see mathematics not as a boring subject, but as a fun and interesting one. I also utilize visual and auditory materials in my lessons. I make the lessons more engaging and effective by offering my students interactive applications, video lectures, online games, and problem-solving activities. I also provide regular feedback to monitor my students' progress and try to identify any extra support they need. In sharing my experiences, I strive to present mathematics not just as a subject, but as a life skill. I show my students how mathematics can be integrated into their daily lives and used to solve real-world problems. Ultimately, in my lessons, I focus on keeping my students' curiosity and desire to learn alive, presenting mathematics in a meaningful and engaging way, and helping them maximize their potential. I have been happily tutoring for about 7 years and I love my job. Every day, I am excited to strengthen my students' relationship with mathematics and help them discover their potential.

I do not charge any fees for materials or platforms in addition to the course fee. Classes are conducted online. During the lessons, necessary explanations, sample questions, and exercises will be prepared by me and shared according to the student's level and needs.
