About Jordan
I have a bachelor's degree in Microbiology from UBC, and I've been passionate about science my whole life. I grow gourmet edible & medicinal mushrooms as a hobby/side business, and I have also given public presentations on the importance of fungi. My experience in tutoring thus far has been as a volunteer, mainly for other students in my classes. I may not be able to make you love biology/biochemistry, but I know I can at least help you understand it.

My teaching method is flexible, and depends on the student's needs. I like to use online animations to illustrate what is happening at the cellular level. I have also found that relating biological processes to more familiar, everyday processes makes learning and understanding them less intimidating and less difficult.
