About Molly
My passion for science is underscored by a variety of experiences – first majoring in biology, then teaching biology at the college level, working as a professional scientist, and now beginning a PhD in Molecular Biology. Throughout all these different roles, I have learned a lot of science, but most importantly I have learned how to study science. And this is what I can teach you!
When I'm not in the lab or the classroom, I enjoy indoor cycling, baking, and spending time outside.

I teach high school and college level biology by helping students read primary source material like journal articles at an appropriate level. Together, we will dive into scientific literature and develop the skills you need to master material and learn how to read scientific writing. This will build your confidence and knowledge base as you continue to dive into the wonderful world of biology! We will then apply these techniques to your coursework or testing.
As a student myself, I approach tutoring with care, enthusiasm, and understanding of what students need. I look forward to working with you.
