About Julia
I am a senior Molecular Biology student with one year left in my undergraduate degree! I have loved all of my biology classes, earning A+'s in each one with an overall GPA of 3.89 across all courses. In college I often teach friends the concepts I'm learning, because the greatest proof of understanding is to be able to teach a concept yourself! In high school I took AP Biology and advanced science courses. With my passion and experience, I believe that I am well-equipped to help you succeed and enjoy learning Biology!!

In order to learn a subject, you need the right tools and motivation! When you understand what you're learning and find it interesting, learning becomes easier and so much more fun! My approach to tutoring biology courses is:
- sharing my enthusiasm with you!
- taking the time to explain in-depth concepts multiple times; we can go as slow or fast as you need
- once you understand a concept, I'll ask you to teach it back to me; teaching is the best proof of knowledge!
- biology courses involve a lot of memorization; I will provide flashcards and study sheets for you!
I will tutor both high school and college level biology courses! These include: General Biology, Zoology, Anatomy & Physiology, AP Biology, and Cell Biology
