About Vijayraj
I am an MPhil scholar of theoretical biology at the University of Auckland. I work with creating simulations of bacteria and observe/predict how they evolve.
I started teaching as an undergrad mostly to make my personal needs meet but what started that way grew into a loving side job. I'm greatly inspired by the teachings of Carl Sagan and strongly believe that all scientists have a responsibility to make science accessible for people from all fields. I wish to propagate the beauty of the sciences as a teacher by instilling a love for it in all young minds and inspire them to be the best versions of themselves, even if they decide to not pursue science as a career option. Science teaches us humility and it's important for people to realise it.

Always prefer one-on-one oral discussions on all topics of the syllabus. I try to instill the habit of prefering to logically UNDERSTAND a topic and not go for the usual memorising route.
Discussions will not always be limited to the course topics but all things STEM.
I teach students of various levels. For senior high schoolers and college stutents, my teaching expertise is limited to just Biological Sciences and all relevant topics. For the junior folk, all science subjects are welcome!
