About Olivia
I am an international development professional, with an MSc in International Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science. I work internationally on projects that advance social and economic rights, and I am passionate about campaigning for rights-based access to social security globally. I live in London, but love travelling and immersing myself in the world around me! I love learning languages and I am currently learning both French and Arabic. I am TEFL (Level 5- 168 hours) qualified - and have extensive experience teaching English as a second language. I am excited at the opportunity to connect and begin your English language journey together!

I offer customised lessons to your learning needs, using real-life materials and interactive exercises that match your level and interests! At the start we will identify your goals together so that every lesson is structured with your objectives in mind. I teach all abilities, whether you are just beginning your English language learning journey, or have been learning English for a number of years and want to hone in on a particular area of the language, such as business jargon. I also offer English language support services for academic writing, such as proofreading or mentorship for dissertations and thesis writing. Speaking and listening are at the core of my classes (if required) and I aim to build fluency for my students through natural conversation, using real life examples that are applicable for you. You can expect clear, constructive feedback in every session to support your learning and regular check ins to keep your progression moving forward!
