About Nora
I am a Physics tutor with over 4 years of experience and a BSc in Applied Physics. My academic background and research have been strongly centered on plasma physics and fusion energy. I guide students through the fascinating world of the fourth state of matter, where particles behave in extraordinary ways. Much of my focus has been on plasma states and their role in creating practical energy solutions. I bring insights into magnetic confinement systems like tokamaks, as well as inertial confinement approaches used in cutting-edge experiments. These fields are not just about equations, but about solving one of humanity’s greatest challenges—clean and limitless energy. I enjoy working with students who are curious about energy research, space science, and high-energy physics. My approach combines theory with real-world applications, helping learners connect classroom knowledge with groundbreaking discoveries. With clarity and patience, I support students in mastering complex topics while encouraging independent thinking and creativity. My teaching approach in Physics is relaxed, clear, and focused on applications. I believe students learn best when they see how concepts work in real life. That is why I connect physics ideas with engineering applications, materials science, fluid dynamics, and the statics and dynamics of structures.
I use real-world engineering problems to show how formulas and theories become practical tools. For example, analyzing stresses in bridges or fluid motion in pipes makes learning meaningful. This approach helps students not only understand concepts but also apply them in designs and solutions.
I bring the perspective of both a Physics Teacher and a Computational Physicist. This allows me to blend theory with problem-solving and modern techniques. I support students in developing critical thinking and analytical skills that will benefit their academic journey and engineering career.
My sessions are interactive, and I encourage students to ask questions freely. I adapt lessons to their needs, whether for school, university, or professional growth. The focus is always on making learning simple, relevant, and motivating. Together, we build strong fundamentals that lead to confidence in exams, assignments, and practical work.
