About Sigrid
I am a Howard University undergraduate student with a major in math and a minor in secondary education. I’ve wanted to be a teacher since I was in the second grade and I’m just looking for opportunities to make that come to life. I have a passion for math and children! There’s something about being frustrated with a problem and sitting with it for a moment; then coming to the solution and feeling so proud and confident in your abilities! I want other students to know that feeling too.

You should take lessons with me because I am able to connect with kids and teenagers fairly easily. I have a lot of patience when a child may not understand and can walk them through various different ways to get to the conclusion. I can do in-person sessions or virtual sessions, as well as having a pretty flexible schedule. I’m also very affordable in comparison to other tutors in the area!
