About Alyssa
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Tennessee with a 3.67 GPA. I am currently in my gap year before beginning Physician Assistant school at the University of South Florida in 2026. I have three years of hands-on experience working in a busy Emergency Room, and I now work in a pediatrician’s office, giving me a strong foundation in both acute care and long-term patient management. In addition to my clinical experience, I have conducted research in neurotoxicology at the College of Staten Island in New York and in virology at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. As a tutor, I combine my academic knowledge, clinical expertise, and research background to help students understand challenging concepts, build confidence, and succeed in their studies.
