About Linda
Hi, I'm Linda.
I've spent my life immersed in languages - as a native German speaker, a fluent English speaker, a lifelong learner, and a professional translator and proofreader.
Since leaving Germany in 2013, I have lived and worked in different countries, teaching, translating, and using English every day in both professional and everyday contexts.
I hold the CELTA certificate and have over 25 years of experience teaching English to children, teenagers, and adults, including corporate clients like Google, Facebook and Penguin Books.
Whether you're building confidence from scratch, refining professional English for work or preparing for an exam, I bring both teaching expertise and real translation experience to every lesson.
I'm approachable, patient, and committed to helping you actually enjoy the process of learning a language - not just get through it.

I have taught in language schools and companies across Costa Rica, Germany, and the UK, including 1-on-1 lessons, group sessions, and courses for companies like Google, Facebook and Red Bull.

All lesson preparation, homework correction and feedback are included in the hourly rate. I also provide learning materials tailored to your level and goals, so there's nothing extra to source or buy.
Lessons can be booked individually or as a package - packages offer a reduced rate per lesson. I offer a free 15-minute introductory call before your first lesson so we can discuss your goals and make sure it's the right fit.
