About Matylda
I am a local student at Newcastle University looking to help spread the love I have for maths to younger students, and utilise my knowledge to explain difficult concepts in a manageable way. I want to teach because I love the satisfaction both student and tutor feel when a subject the student struggles with finally makes sense. I also want to inspire people with my love for maths and show that it’s fun as well as important.

I ensure my lessons are student-centered, fostering an interactive and supportive learning environment. I think it’s important to build a strong rapport with each student, so that I can tailor lessons to individual needs and learning preferences. I believe a 2 hour session is most beneficial but I am flexible to suit the student’s needs. By using clear explanations, real-world examples, and varied teaching materials, I hope to help students grasp complex concepts with ease. I am happy to tutor students of any ages, especially GCSE and A Level maths students.
