About Ethan Z
I graduated from Washington State University in May 2023 with a BS in math education. I love math, and my favorite class by far was abstract algebra.
I'm also an avid fan of theater, I enjoy both being on stage and in the audience, and I've written plays I had the opportunity to produce in college. I also spent time studying a few fields in psychology and sociology, and I have found ways to implement what I learned in my tutoring process.
I am firm in my belief that the sciences and the humanities are all interconnected and valuable, and by studying both, we can enrich our worldview and make wiser decisions.

I tutor all students in middle school and high school that are looking for help in mathematics.
I am very person-focused, and I pay a lot of attention to my students' personalities, interests, and thinking styles. It's important for me to adapt to my students and understand them as a person first. Then, I figure out where they're making mistakes and how I can successfully redirect them.
My goal is to be so infectiously positive that your student can't help but to like math a little bit more.
