About Justi
I have been a teacher with the NC school system since 2002 and have loved every moment of it. I have a BA from Lenoir Rhyne College in the areas of Education of the Hearing Impaired and Elementary Education, Masters from Appalachian State University in the area of Learning Disabilities, Intellectual Disabilities and Emotional/Behavioral Disabilities. Masters from Queens University in Charlotte in Educational Leadership. Highly Qualification status in Middle Grades education. Currently seeking Masters Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst from Capella University.

My lessons are typically engaging because no one wants to have someone lecture at them. I require the learner to participate because research has shown that without learner engagement a lesson is useless. We move or draw or act out as necessary. I gear my lessons to the individual needs of the learner. I know that each learner is different and thus each lesson is going to be different.
