About Chaachi
As well as offering support in English, I am also experienced in tutoring on a wide range of other subjects including Drama and Performing Arts, Psychology, Sociology, Philosophy and History. I am also a skilled tutor for Primary age students and have experience offering general support in literacy and numeracy as well as more specific coaching for entrance exams.
I am currently undertaking a move into the field of Educational Psychology and as such have a particular interest in supporting students with Special Educational Needs. Although I am not fully qualified yet, my studies in psychology gives my teaching methods with SEN a firm theoretical background.

An experienced teacher of English, I have been rated as "outstanding" by Ofsted and have worked as Head of Department and Lead Practitioner within an inner city secondary school. I am an enthusiastic and committed tutor and have supported several students throughout their secondary school studies. My sessions are planned meticulously and are tailored to target the areas the student needs to improve in in order to move on to the next level. Marking and feedback is also a large element of the service I provide and students are encouraged to email over drafts of school assignments or projects. I have an in depth knowledge of the major specifications for GCSE and A Level and my time in schools means that I have prior experience teaching the works of literature often focussed on.
