About Eden
My name is Eden, and I am a science graduate from the University of Otago, where I completed my degree with First Class Honors. Alongside my academic background, I run a small-scale NGO in Sumatra, working closely with conservation projects and local communities. This allows me to bring real-world experience into my teaching and connect biological concepts to practical, meaningful applications. I am passionate about education, conservation, and helping students build confidence in their abilities. I understand that everyone learns differently, and I aim to create a supportive, motivating learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their skills.

My lessons are tailored to each student and focus on encouragement, motivation, and building confidence. I meet students where they are in their learning and create a supportive environment where they feel comfortable with their abilities. I enjoy helping students recognize their potential by making lessons engaging, interactive, and enjoyable. I teach high school biology and other life science subjects, as well as first- and second-year university students who may need extra support or motivation. I have experience teaching students from a wide range of backgrounds and bring real-world insight from my work in conservation, including in remote field settings.
