Hi! My tutoring style tends to be detail-oriented, and a good fit for visual and kinesthetic learners. I enjoy using visual demonstrations and plenty of examples to help teach concepts. My classes are specifically tailored to each student's unique needs. I have no problem breaking it down to the basics or simply providing you with the "must knows" to get through class. Either way, I will strive to help you get the most out of your tutoring!

Maya is encouraging, positive and a supportive teacher. That accompanies you along the whole way with patience and grace. She is so kind and a great person and teacher!
Maya is a very knowledgeable and patient teacher. I am a grade 11 student currently taking Biology 20, and I truly couldn’t have excelled at this class without her help. She always gives clear explanations and step-by-step approaches to difficult concepts to grasp. I highly recommend her to anyone who is struggling with biology!
Maya is a very kind and easy-to-understand teacher. Whenever I don’t understand something, I feel comfortable asking her right away because she creates such a warm and gentle atmosphere. She always corrects me accurately when I make mistakes. Thanks to her, I’m able to speak a little more each time, and I’ve come to love English even more.
