About Felix
Greetings, my name is Felix and I am an Oxford-educated teacher, tutor, and artist currently based in Lambeth! I have now been teaching and tutoring for over three years, with a wide range of experience in both secondary and primary settings. My two specialisms are Classics (Latin, Greek, and Classical Civilisation) and art: in both cases, my teaching is informed by years of high-level study (including a combined five years at Oxford) and direct experience working with young people from a wide variety of backgrounds and with a wide range of needs. I have tutored students for both Classics and Art across all secondary key stages (with significant experience preparing students for GCSEs and A-Levels) and have also assisted students with university applications in the past. I have taught both Classics (Latin, Greek, and/or Classical Civilisation) and Art in secondary schools across all key stages (including at GCSE and A-Level), having obtained high results in my undergraduate and postgraduate courses at Oxford and a distinction in my PGCE course (which I gained whilst working in my first teaching role). I make sure to tailor my teaching methods and approach to each individual student in order to help them with the specific challenges which they are facing within their subject: I have worked with students from a wide variety of backgrounds and age groups and, in all cases, have helped them achieve the progress, results, and fulfilment which they desired. Additionally, I have also assisted students with Oxbridge applications in the past (as well as those to other Russell Group universities) and have achieved good outcomes in this capacity. I have a lot of flexibility in terms of lesson length and frequency and am happy to work this out in a way which best aligns with your schedule.
