About Uma Shankar
My name is Umashankar, and I am a Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Mathematics with over 8 years of teaching experience. I am currently working at Manas Sthali Residential School, Bareilly, where I teach Classes XI and XII. My academic background includes a B.Sc., M.Sc., and B.Ed. from Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, Bareilly. I have a passion for making mathematics meaningful and accessible, and I regularly integrate real-world applications, concept-based learning, and exam-oriented strategies in my classes. I also hold multiple certifications from platforms like DIKSHA and have completed programs like the 3030 Eklavya Program by IIT Gandhinagar to enhance creativity and critical thinking in teaching. In my previous roles, I’ve served as a PGT at Bajaj Public School, Shahjahanpur and Shafi Public School, Bisalpur, and also worked as a Statistician Officer at the Land Revenue Office, Bijnor.
