About Linsey
Studying plant biology often feels like reading a foreign language until you see the roots. Biology is rarely just about memorizing facts, yet most students approach it like a collection of random names. I focus on how evolution and natural selection explain the world around us.
My 7 years of teaching have taught me where students get stuck and how to get them unstuck. I guide you through the scientific method, molecular biology, cell biology, and genetics and inheritance. I focus on exam technique so you feel calm when you walk in. I try to make the concepts stick.

Confusion happens when complex systems feel disconnected from real life. I fix this.
My approach draws from my PhD work at Stanford to bridge the gap between abstract theory and concrete understanding. We start with the core logic.
You will learn to see the patterns that govern life. Nothing is hidden behind complex jargon.
I keep things grounded and direct. Clarity is the main goal. It feels good to finally understand.
