About Krittika
I enjoy helping students feel less overwhelmed by science and more confident in understanding difficult concepts. I know science can sometimes feel intimidating, especially when classes move quickly, so I try to make lessons friendly, clear, and stress-free. I’m happy to help with class topics, homework, exam preparation, lab reports, research presentations, or scientific writing. My goal is to make learning feel manageable and encouraging, not scary.

My tutoring approach is patient, structured, and concept-driven. I begin by understanding the student’s current level, course requirements, and specific challenges. I then break complex topics into simpler steps using diagrams, examples, analogies, practice questions, and guided problem-solving. My goal is to help students understand the reasoning behind scientific concepts rather than relying only on memorization.
A typical lesson starts with a quick review of the student’s goals or recent class material, followed by a focused explanation of the topic. We then work through examples, homework-style questions, or exam-style problems together. I end each session with a short summary of key points, common mistakes to avoid, and suggested practice for continued improvement.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my Ph.D. training in Molecular Biophysics and my experience teaching undergraduate biology laboratory courses. I can explain advanced topics in biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, protein structure, genetics, and cell biology in a clear and approachable way. I also help students improve scientific thinking, lab-report writing, data interpretation, and presentation skills.
My lessons are suitable for high school students, undergraduate students, and early graduate students studying biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, biotechnology, genetics, cell biology, or related life-science subjects. I can also support students preparing for exams, research presentations, lab reports, scientific writing assignments, and foundational research discussions.
