About Julia
I'm a PhD student in History at the University of Glasgow who loves to read a lot in my free time. I consider my approach as very assuring and believe in positive attitude when studying. My main concern is making sure the student is comfortable and happy with the tutoring and always keep an open dialogue with my students! I provide feedback on essays and love to explore loads of questions when dissecting any work!

I go through the book chapter by chapter covering main themes, characters, use of language, historical background and cover each chapter with some questions so the student can fully engage with the book! My lessons are typically 45mins - 1hr but this can be extended if the student is struggling or the chapters are complex. I have an MA degree in English Literature and History and am a PhD in history, having extensive knowledge in literary themes and analytic techniques to sqeueeze the most out of an essay/project. I also aid in essay writing and editing and help construct an excellent essay. Lessons for anyone 14 and over and cover IB, GCSE, and A-levels.
