About Nels
I've done teaching assistantship at Iowa State University for 6 semesters, including both 100 and 200 level physics. I've worked at DMACC as an adjunct teacher for a semester for both 100 and 200 level. I've experienced a full gamut of physics classes spanning high school through graduate school.

My lessons are for those in high school or undergrad physics to help them get through their required classes.
I'm a fan of the Socratic method. That is answering a question with a question to help fulfill the answer. I'm also like to make use of examples that the layman can understand. So if there's an unconventional concept that's too abstract, I will always try to search for a good analogy to help. I also have a few pieces of lab equipment on me for demonstrations, if necessary.
A lesson may include:
-Example problems or drills.
-Conceptual problems.
-If materials are permitting, a lab demo.
-If wanted, a page-by-page examination of the text that's used in the class.
