About Nyah
Hi! I'm a Physics and Mechanical Engineering student at Kennesaw State University, and I'm passionate about making math and science accessible and enjoyable for younger students.
I earned my Associate in Science degree while completing high school, which gave me a strong foundation in mathematics and the sciences. My academic journey has taught me the importance of patience, perseverance, and finding learning methods that work for each individual.
I believe every student is capable of succeeding with the right guidance and encouragement. As a tutor, I prioritize creating a welcoming, judgment-free environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in their abilities.
My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to inspire curiosity, independence, and a genuine appreciation for learning!

As a Physics and Mechanical Engineering student at Kennesaw State University, I understand that everyone learns differently. My goal as a tutor is to make math and science more approachable by breaking down complex concepts and adapting my teaching methods to each student's needs.
My teaching approach emphasizes critical thinking and understanding rather than memorization. Instead of simply giving students the answers, I ask guiding questions that encourage them to think independently. This also helps me gauge their understanding and identify areas where they may need additional support.
A typical lesson begins by assessing the student's current understanding, reviewing challenging concepts, and working through practice problems together. I focus on building confidence and helping students understand *why* something works, not just how to get the correct answer.
I offer personalized math and science tutoring exclusively for middle school and high school students. I strive to create a patient, supportive, and judgment-free environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning at their own pace.
