I personally like to familiarise myself with the said material (subject) at the appropriate level so I am fully up to date with what the pupils teacher/lecturer expects of them. With a subject like maths, the basics and ground work are fundamental in assuring the increasingly complicated material makes sense to a student. I think a student struggling with maths at say a higher level, may likely be a result of gaps in their previous knowledge. I believe my method is well suited to one on one exam preparation for prelims and finals etc. Going through relevant questions of increasing difficulty and increasing the pupils knowledge and confidence.
I am a University Physics (hons) graduate living in glasgow with a keen passion and talent for tutoring. I studied Engineering Physics at Heriot Watt university for 4 years. I have been helping younger students with predominantly Maths and Physics throughout my School/University years (Initially starting with my two younger sisters who struggled with said subjects). I understand each pupil learn and internalize concepts differently to others, finding a way that suits their learing stlye is very important.
