About Daniel "Audrey"
I am a current Master's student and teaching assistant (TA) at The University of Oklahoma, where I am studying philosophy. I have a B.A. in physics from Carleton College (minor in philosophy), and I have experience teaching/tutoring students in preparation for the ACT.

I use a combination of minimalist, "big picture" lectures and practice/question/answer time in my lessons. I find that students are more likely to grasp tough concepts if presented with simple yet broad explanations. Then, to fill in the missing bits of information, I turn to an interactive model that allows students to take direct ownership of the content they learn. Math and science are both disciplines of discovery and wonder, and I believe teaching styles should always reflect and encourage this sort of engagement.
