About Frank
Holding an MS Data Science degree from UC Berkeley is only half of the story. Truthfully, I often find that the most complex physics problems have the simplest underlying structures. My journey through 10 years of scientific computing and ML engineering at a FAANG shapes how I teach kinematics and thermodynamics.
I work with absolute beginners and those prepping for Olympiads. We look at units, measurements, and modern physics through a data-first lens. I find that optics and graph interpretation become easier when treated as a coding problem. My 9 years of experience allow me to simplify these topics for struggling students.

Most students fail because they do not understand the fundamental units before starting calculations. A diagnostic test for every student before we begin is mandatory.
This ensures we start at the right level. I apply my UC Berkeley training to ensure that thermodynamics and modern physics lab work are clear. My experience in scientific computing helps me explain how to handle complex variables. It is often quite satisfying to see a student navigate a difficult problem set.
