About Mia
I am a Physics tutor with over 4 years of experience and an MSc in Nuclear Physics. I specialize in integrating geophysics and earth sciences into physics practice, helping students understand plate tectonics, seismic waves, and climate physics. My teaching approach focuses on making Physics exciting, clear, and relatable. I cover a wide range of topics, including mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, as well as astronomy, celestial mechanics, cosmology basics, and space exploration physics. Lessons combine theory with practical examples to help students see the real-world applications of concepts. I emphasize phonetic accuracy and active listening, with plenty of repetition to strengthen understanding.
I work closely with students who are curious but may find certain topics challenging, helping them gain confidence step by step. Lessons are interactive, encouraging questions and hands-on problem solving. I focus on developing analytical thinking and a deeper understanding of the cosmos. Exam preparation and assignment guidance are integrated to reinforce learning.
I guide students in connecting abstract concepts to tangible phenomena, making complex ideas approachable. Together, we explore the wonders of the universe and the physics that governs it.
