About Wesley
Hi,
I'm Wesley and I provide online tutoring to all levels of students from middle school, high school, college, and even graduate students in mathematics and statistics. I have been a tutor for over 12 years and completed my Masters in Mathematics from Claremont Graduate School in 2013 after graduating from Santa Clara University for my undergrad. My rate is typically $100 per hour.
Currently mostly doing online tutoring due to COVID. I have a great set-up with Zoom and Microsoft OneNote for shared (and saved) writing space. I/You can upload pictures of homework/textbook that we can both comment and write on. It works best if you have a tablet as well but its fine with a computer.
Tutor for the upcoming year (& beyond if you want): The school year is getting underway and I'm glad to meet via Zoom/online or meeting in person to help you with your learning goals (whether that is passing the class, getting the A, more practice, or concept understanding). I can summarize material, ease understanding, and create or help with practice problems! Set up your schedule now!

I focus on high school and college student of all levels. They can be struggle to pass the class or advanced students looking to understand at an in depth level. I often employ techniques that build understanding of the fundamentals. This often starts with demonstrating how to do examples, working through problems with students, and eventually asking questions related to different applications of the same techniques.
