About Tiberiu
I am a recent graduate of Faculty of Economic Cybernetics, Statistics and Informatics.
At the request of Mrs. Daniela Vasile (teacher at the International High School in Bucharest, awarded the best teacher in Romania) I started 3 years ago to do math lessons thanks to my knowledge and emotional intelligence.
Prepared more than 200 students, aged 14-23, over the last 3 years.
Achieved 100% client satisfaction while scheduling and teaching independently. Enhanced lessons through integration of innovative educational technology (i.e. Google Drive, Google Calendar. Led and motivated students to complete assignments while maximizing understanding and scores.

Teaching is really about inspiration, not information. Effective teaching focuses on why and how, not what. The goal should be to spark each student’s imagination, to find a hook in their heart and mind so that they feel a need to learn the material. The rest is easy, because the student then drives his or her learning. My role as a teacher is to ask provocative questions, and to help the students make a path toward the answers. If they are motivated to find the path, they will carve it themselves. If I have to pull out a mental machete to expose the path, then I haven’t done my job.
