About Sharon
I have a background with a strong emphasis in the biological sciences. I was a biology teacher for several years. I also worked in two biology-based research labs. I used to tutor students that were in my classes when I was in college. I also tutored my high school students after school. Currently, I am teaching a course in genetics to adults. I have been told that I have an ability to explain difficult material in a way that is easy to understand and am quite interesting due to my wide knowledge of interesting and entertaining facts and stories that involve the topics I am teaching.

I taught high school biology, genetics, a prep course for the science portion of the ACT, and junior high general science. My second degree was in animal science/preveterinary medicine with a minor in microbiology. I also worked in a horticulture lab at Purdue University and was a certified laboratory animal technician at Notre Dame University.
