About William
Teaching is my day job and has been for seven years because I love it and I am good at it.
Aside from the other details I have mentioned, I know that it is important for students to have a wide appreciation of cultural capital, not just from books.
What makes us human is this desire for knowledge: I have worked in a few different professions and seen a lot of the world before I succumbed to my passion - teaching.
I am originally a Londoner who has studied both in the UK and in Louisiana (USA).
I am an obsessive film collector and got into teaching English via coaching American football in Wembley!

The time I learnt the most was (100 years ago) in primary school when work and play were the same thing: this is the attitude I bring to my classroom as often as possible - my lessons are creative and I ensure I have good repartee with the students.
My bespoke lessons for 11-16 year old students help them develop an understanding of a range of language and structural techniques so that they can analyse them effectively and then utilise these techniques themselves.
I can offer lessons of any length up to an hour at a time.
