I am an English and Drama teacher. I take a warm approach where I listen to the students and build off what they tell me. As a secondary school teacher, I work with a variety of needs - I can stretch and challenge students, which last year led to the highest progress of year 11s in the English department. I can also really encourage and drive standards and progress for students who struggle. Interventions created and managed by me led to students with below average reading ages outperforming their peers.
