About Danielle
Hello, I’m Danielle, a passionate and experienced English tutor with a background in both mainstream and specialist education. I currently teach in a complex needs SEN school, where I support pupils with a range of learning profiles, including autism (ASD), ADHD, and Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA). My experience has taught me the importance of patience, adaptability, and above all, listening to each child’s unique voice. I offer interactive, child-centred online English lessons for students from KS1 to KS4. My sessions are fully tailored to individual needs, whether your child is building confidence in reading and writing, preparing for GCSEs, or needs a creative and supportive approach to learning. Lessons may include creative writing, phonics games, guided reading, visual aids, discussion-based learning, and personalised resources — all designed to help students stay engaged and progress at their own pace. I’m deeply passionate about every child having access to fair, meaningful education, and I work hard to ensure my students not only achieve, but enjoy learning along the way. I am an experienced English teacher with a strong background in both mainstream and SEN education, offering engaging, child-centred online English lessons from KS1 to KS4. My approach is rooted in listening to each child’s individual needs and adapting lessons and resources to suit their learning style and pace. Lessons are interactive and varied — from creative writing prompts and grammar games to guided reading, comprehension discussions, and tailored exam preparation. I draw on a wide range of techniques to keep students motivated and confident, whether they need support with phonics, GCSE English Literature, or anything in between. My goal is to create a positive and supportive learning environment where every student feels heard and valued.
