I have a passion for enabling students to reach their full potential and seeing them develop in confidence, knowledge, and equipping them with skills to excel. I have worked in a range of schools in the UK and even been a head of Department which supports students pastorally and academically. I recently completed a qualification in teaching Literacy that focuses on improving the quality of creative writing and analytical writing in essays.

I teach 1 hour online lessons that use a range of texts that vary in genre and embed a range of skills that will be tested. I use real life examples, mixed in with humour to make ideas easier to understand. I give time for extended writing using past papers to give real life relevance
