About Adam

Hello! My name is Adam and I should be your next tutor. Why? Because I am a fully qualified professional with a track record of success. Because I believe that everybody deserves a chance to succeed. Because I understand that every individual learns in their own way and that uniqueness should be embraced. Because I am deeply passionate about my subject and about helping others succeed. Because I know that not everyone gets the help they need from formal education and I know I can provide it. Because learning doesn't need to be dull. Interested? Send me a message and let's get the ball rolling!

About the lesson

Every student is different, and so every student learns differently. My ethos is to make sure that every learner in my care, regardless of their ability, learning style or educational need, learns, grows and reaches their potential. In a practical sense, a programme with me would begin with a free 'Session 0' in which the student would take on a friendly assessment. This will allow me to get a gauge of the student's capabilities and target areas so I can create a tailored learning programme for them going forward. This plan is adaptable and can be adjusted to meet any outside direction or exam time cramming. I have QTS, a PGCE in Science with Chemistry, a degree in Forensic Chemistry, a TEFL Certification and several other sundry instruction and coaching qualifications. Most importantly, I have a valid enhanced DBS certificate. My sessions run for an hour, either at my home office near Richmond or online. They would be appropriate for anyone looking for a bump in the core subjects (English, Maths and Science) at a KS2 and KS3 level, in Science at GCSE Level, or in A-Level Chemistry.

Adam coached my daughter for under 10's Cricket, and when he mentioned he's started doing Maths and English tutoring too I immediately booked in some sessions with him. He's reasonably priced, and my daughter really enjoys being tutored/coached by him. I've seen first-hand his friendly, engaging teaching manner and you can tell he loves his job and promotes curiosity and fun. My daughter feels comfortable making mistakes and working through them with him, which matters the most. When I pick her up, she always says she enjoys being tutored by Adam. I'm so glad I found him.
