Drive. Though the CGE expert was very good at Thyristor Drives he did not know about load cell system. I could commission the underground ore hoisting system using GE CR 245 logic modules
& ASEA Pressductor system on my own & without ASEA Canada expert. On close examination, i found that in one out of the two measuring hoppers the bin instead of resting on the ball of load cell was resting on the fixed portion of ASEA Pressductor due to which weight of bin was not coming on the load cell.This was because of error in installation of Measuring Hopper No. 2 unknowingly. So I got the bin lifted & moved the load cell so that weight of bin fell on the load cell. As the signal was not coming CGE expert by mistake gave current through moving coil of controller & slightly damaged it The moving coil with mirror came out of its mounting. I got hold of good instrument mechanic & he was able to bring the moving coil with mirror back on its mounting.
Then I simulated the whole measuring system in the laboratory
i)I took a dry cell of 1.5v dc & a resistor 0f 1.5k & was able to generate a current of 1 ma & pass it through moving the coil to simulate a condition of no load to full load.
ii)I took 24v dc for the operation of relay card.
iii) I took 9v dc for the bulb light source to operate & drop relays by movement of moving coil.
Only after I installed the pantem mess contactor the underground system was installed & hoisting
could be started.
b)2570 HP Ore Hosting Production Shaft Winder of Jeumont Schneider of France.
The spares of this were no longer available & drive stopped working & production came to standstill.
ABB engineer could not integrate the panel because he did not know about earlier Ward Leonard Controls. He only knew about Direct Thyristor Drive. This problem came after I superannuated from HCL .He was taking only Gen field current & Motor speed as feedback. He was not taking into account Gen Armature Current Feedback. When I pointed this out then ABB People sent a module for Armature Current Sensing & feedback. I could commission the drive in 1 week which he could not do in 15 months.
c)I was also involved in installation & commissioning of Automatic Casting system of copper Anodes by in motion weighing of molten copper anodes & casting of equal thickness anodes. This system was of Outokumpu Finland.
d)I also worked on 10 MW ASEA Gas Turbines for generation of emergency power.
e) I also worked on GEC Alstom Electric Blower for circulating of Air through Copper Converters.
f}Worked on PLC, SLC, DLC, SCADA & CR245 GE Logic Modules for copper smelter g)Worked on ERP implementation.

C)BHARAT STEEL TUBES LIMITED: 3.5 YEARS
There I worked on Reliance Electric Drives for production of steel pipes using ERW technique for pipes of a diameter of half an inch to six inches. The edges of pipe were inline welded by ERW technique using Induction Welder from Electroheating UK.
