My teaching methodology involves logical progression of key concepts and a keen focus on the actual understanding rather than just learning to pass exams. However exam technique will be covered in detail through past paper questions as it is a key skill and should not be underplayed. I focus strongly on clearing up major misconceptions which can often disrupt students learning and have a high level of humility for the difficulties which students may face when tackling these exams(GCSE/A-Level). I myself was the same position as many of these student only 5 years ago and i feel this gives me the edge when identifying the potential pitfalls they may face.
I am a recent Chemistry Masters graduate from the university of Reading. I have gained in school tutoring and teaching experience from studying for a PGCE(post graduate certificate in education). I have taught large classes comprising of between 25-30 students but my main talent resides in individual tutoring.
