About Amelia
I really enjoy teaching because I like helping people understand subjects that can feel challenging at first. Seeing students grow in confidence and realise they’re capable of more than they thought is very rewarding for me. I know from my own studies that sometimes all it takes is the right explanation or example for something to “click,” and I want to provide that for my students.

I take a student-centred approach to tutoring, tailoring lessons to each learner’s pace and focusing on clear explanations, worked examples, and real-world applications. My aim is to build confidence, problem-solving skills, and long-term understanding rather than rote memorisation. Lessons are usually 60 minutes, though I also offer 45-minute sessions for younger students and 90-minute sessions for exam preparation. I have 2.5 years of experience tutoring GCSE and KS3 students in maths, business, and economics. I hold a First Class degree in Real Estate Investment and Finance where I received awards for top academic performance, and I now work as a Graduate Commercial Surveyor. I teach KS3, GCSE, and A-Level students as well as university students and adult learners who want to strengthen their knowledge in finance, economics, or real estate.
